VEGAS VEGAS VEGAS

OK so I'm not going to bore you with the every day to day things we did in Vegas, but I'll tell you the quick version and then show you pics. The flight down there was good, the flight back was not b/c of the rain we were about and hour behind schedule. We only lost about $100 which is good. were not big gamblers so i didn't think we would win or loose big. We went and saw a show b/c it was free, we saw the criss angel show....it was HORRIBLE. Cab driver said its one of the worst shows out there, so we were pretty sad about that one. Went and saw the tigers and dolphins at our hotel. Layed out by the pool. Walked, walked, walked, walked and walked. Steven was not a happy camper about all the walking. All in all we had a great trip and a great first year of marriage together. Oh yeah my husband did pull a fast one on me...he walked me into Tiffany's to get my anniversary gift, even though we said no gifts....i love it, its a ring I've been wanting. HE is the best!!!

One year down....

On Sunday the 6th, Steven and I celebrated our one year anniversary. I had to work :( but i knew i would b/c of labor day. In order for me to get holiday pay i had to either work the day before or the day after and since we leave for Vegas on Tuesday, well you get the picture. But Sundays are short so it wasn't too bad. When i got home we cooked out some pork chops with baked potatoes, green beans and salad. We decided not to get each other anything b/c our trip would be our gift to each other. You know they say the first year you are supposed to give something with paper...so we got each other plane tickets...ha ha. Steven did send me some flowers the week before at work, for an early anniversary and for taking care of him when he was sick....so thoughtful. So i gave him a little something, a i -Tunes card...Steven never really wants much but the boy loves his music. So here is a pic of the pretty flowers i got.

So we are headed to Vegas tomorrow, we are taking Sam to the vet to stay there while we are gone. I'm a little sad we have to take him there but i don't really have anyone else to watch him...and its not like all he does is sleep. He is a very playful puppy and needs full attention. So that's all I'm going to say about it b/c i really don't want to think about it. Steven's mom is going to go get him Friday so that way he'll be home when we get in Friday night. can't wait for that. But i got out my suit case the other day to start my packing and this morning as i was laying out all my stuff, Sam kept crawling under the bed and barking at me and then i turned around and he was sitting in my suit case....i told him i would try to sneak him with us, but that i didn't think dad would go for that....

Until next time....hope everyone has a great week. I'll have tons of pictures when we get back.

comfy chairs and season tickets

I came home the other night and Steven was outside sitting in his chair watching Sam run around the back yard. After Sam had greeted me at the back gate he decided he wanted to sit in Steven's lap, so I ran and got my camera, even though Steven was not happy about it, i took it anyway...too cute!

Check out Sam's ears, this is a new thing. Ones up and ones to the side. Its so funny looking but its his little personality that makes it cute.
He was loving it.
Later Sam went outside by himself and look out to check on him and this is what i found...ha ha
Steven hates getting his picture taken, but in my family, nobody cares. You just suck it up and smile, b/c there are always cameras flashing. But the other day Steven said you can take my picture and you can even post it on your blog....wow!!! And what do you ask is the special occasion? Someone got the OU season tickets in the mail and is so excited you would think he was a little kid on Christmas morning. I also had to send a picture to our brother-in-law who is a huge Texas fun (notice the "horns down")
