Feeling A Little Crafty

Ok, so I haven't been blogging as much as I wanted to, but hopefully with the holiday season coming up I'll have lots to blog about. Everything has been good, working and selling some houses. I love being a realtor!!! Been getting to hang out with some of my girls lately which is always nice. Went to and OU football game with Steven a couple of weekends ago, college football is always FUN. I know I'm a girl and shouldn't like football, but when college football starts up, you better watch out b/c this girl loves her some COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!!!

Ok so now the reason I was blogging, I have been feeling a little bit crafty lately and saw this idea on another blog like year ago, don't even remember where i saw it. But i have been trying to figure out what to do with all my earrings that i have just laying around everywhere. I try to keep them all in the same place but then I can remember what i have, b/c they are laying on top of each other. So I found this cute idea and thought i would tell you how i did it. VERY EASY.

First you need a ruler, a pencil, scissors, a frame with no back or glass (got mine at Hobby Lobby for half off), some eyelet hooks( i think that's what there called) and some wire.

Then you measure where you want your three lines to go.

Then you take the eyelet hooks and screw them into the sides where you marked, you might need to make a hole first, so it easier.

Then you take your wire, i just used the wire that is used to hang a picture, and wrap it through and around the eyelet hook.

Then i had an old picture hanger laying around so i nailed that into the back of it and.....

Its a great way to see and display your earrings. Its not perfect, but for the first one, i think it works.

Lady Ga Ga...mmm not so much

So last week my sister-in-law(Lacey) and I went to Dallas to go see Lady Ga Ga. We were super excited about it and couldn't wait to get there. We stayed in a hotel close to the AA Center so we could just walk back and wouldn't have to pay for parking. Steven and his mom stayed at the hotel to watch Caine. Jared was supposed to get to come but he had knee surgery 3 days before and was a little to sore to make the trip.

Well let me just get to the concert. The songs and performances were great as well as the outfit changes. Some things we didn't like is that she sang like 3 songs and then did a stage change or an outfit change and you just sat there looking at black curtain (boring). It was like you were all pumped about the song and then next thing you know you were just sitting there in your chair. Another thing we weren't a big fan of is she did a lot of "Jesus Preaching" like Jesus loves you know matter who you are and what you do and who you love. Didn't come to hear her preach. Plus she had a lot of, umm how should I say this, "happy followers" and that's who she was preaching to. Anyway not my cup of tea but glad I can say been there done that.

Oh also I was so mad...didn't take my camera b/c our tickets said no cameras. So I didn't want to take it and then they take it from me so we only took a few pictures before. And then we got there everyone (but us) had there cameras out. Talk about mad.

Had to get his picture taken too

Back in ACTION!!!!

No I have not forgotten about the blog world. I actually get on here a lot and read everyone else blogs. There is a good reason why i haven't blogged. I've been very busy since the end of January and i can finally tell everybody what I've been doing. (some people already know). I have been working on my real estate license. And i have passed my test and just waiting on my license to get in the mail so i can go make some money :) Everyday that i had off from January to April i was sitting at home at the computer, which wasn't easy, but most of those days were yucky weather days, so i guess it worked out good. I told Steven there was some good of me staying home doing my classes, at least i wasn't out spending money. So working 40 hours at US Cellular and doing classes on my days off wasn't fun, but i did it and so glad i did. My last day at US Cellular was on the May 27th. I hated leaving that place b/c i really enjoyed the people that i worked with, but i knew what i needed to do. I am so excited to start this new chapter in my life, this is always something i wanted to do but didn't really know anyone in the business. I want to thank my family and friends for the support they gave to me while going on this journey, without them and their prayers i wouldn't have been able to do this. God is good.

So if you need me, want to buy a house, sell a house or have any questions let me know. I will be working with the Bishop Group in Wichita Falls.
