New Paintings

I haven't been painting lately because sometimes life is a little crazy. But since i had off today and this past weekend, i decided to do a couple. So... I thought i would share the two that i did. Let me know what you think. Trying some new different things. I really like both of these and hope you will too. Hope yall have a good rest of the week. Women's Conference

Last Wed. Katie and I went to a Women's Conference with my mom. She invited us to go along with some of her lady friends. The conference had Angela Kinsey from the show Office there to speak. My mom is really good friends with Angela's sister. So we went and listen to her and ate some good home cooking from Kathy's deli. Angela was so funny, she talked about her journey through her life and things every women should know. Here are some pics of Katie and i at the conference and with Angela.

Kenny Chesney Part One

So how did the concert go you ask? Well....funny story. It rained and rained and rained and rained. But the concert said rain or shine. So Steven and i were ready, we had our rain coats on and smiles on ready for a great night. Started off Great with Lady Antebellum, started raining about 3 songs into them singing. So Steven and i decided to go up underneath the walk way to keep dry for a little bit. Well it continued to rain, so we stayed up there will Miranda Lambert sang. It finally stopped raining, when she was done, so we decided to go back down to our seats. It took about 45 minutes to get the stage ready for Kenny, before he started. He finally made his big appearance and it was great. Sang some songs sprinkled a little, not to bad though. So i decided to go to the bathroom, b/c i knew the lines would be short, which they were, but as soon as i started down the stairs to go back to the seat it started really raining. But Steven and i were troopers we stayed in the pouring rain. After about 20 minutes of it, we decided to go back up top for a little bit. I was soaked from my waist down. Kenny decided to stop for a little bit b/c it was lighting so bad. When we finally made it to the top the came on the loud speaker and said "Go Home, shows canceled." WHAT????? Are you kidding me? I felt so bad, i was really pumped about seeing the show, but felt really bad b/c i know how bad Steven wanted to see him. But as of yesterday Kenny is coming back to Frisco on May 17Th.....WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!

I did get some pictures, but not a whole lot since i didn't want my camera to get soaked.

Dancing Machine

This is the cutest thing that you will see on my blog. This our nephew Caine and he loves to be the center of attention, which none of us mind. This was taken Easter weekend when they came up. He is dancing to Taylor Swift's Fearless. This kid is so dang cute!!!!!!!

Concert Fun

So i know its been a while, but i have been waiting on pictures. A couple of weekends ago Steven and i went out to eat with Katie and Derek and then went to the Neon Spur to watch Charlie Robison. And we had a blast! But i didn't take my camera b/c Katie had hers. And I finally got her to upload them, so that i could snatch some for the blog.

So as you can see we had a great time, after we got done we went and played Scene it at Katie and Derek's house, and its pretty fun. I think the funniest part was trying to watch Derek play the game, while drinking a beer, while tyring to fall asleep.

Well Steven and I are going to go see Kenny Chesney this weekend in Frisco. Steven loves Kenny and has been wanting to see him forever. Funny story about seeing Kenny. 3 years ago Steven and i were dating and he had gotten tickets to go see Kenny and invited me to go, so i was super pumped to go. Well at the time i was working for AT&T at the call center and i had just started and was still in training. At that time I was working Monday thru Friday which was good b/c i was going to be off for the concert. Well the week of the concert, AT&T changed our schedule and i had to work the day of the concert. I felt so bad, i told Steven he could still go with out me, but he didn't, he ended up giving the tickets to his mom for her birthday. Very sweet guy, she was so excited. So know here we are again, 3 years later and we are finally going. I haven't been able to live that one down, hopefully i can redeem myself this weekend. I'll let yall know how it goes, I'm sure I'll have pictures too.

Home Updates

Ok so Steven and i decided to do a little home updates a couple of weekends ago. We got a new sidewalk poured b/c i couldn't walk on the rocks and we put all new doors in the house b/c we had the old hollow wood doors that were not pretty. I don't have pictures of the doors but they are new updated panel doors. but here is our new sidewalk and some new bushes that my mom and i planted.

Favorite beauty products

OK so I'm following the trend that everyone else it doing; telling everyone what my favorite beauty products are. Well I'm not a huge beauty product person, I do like to try new stuff but if it works for me and my skin/body then I'm not about to change. I sometimes get a wild hair and try new things out...so anyway here are my top 10.

1. OK so the first one is my CHI, not that I really need it b/c my hair is naturally straight as a board, but i can do so much with it. I use to not be able to curl my hair, b/c it would never stay, but with my trusty CHI, it can stay curled for up to 2 whole days, that's a lifetime in my hair. Also sometimes when i wake up, i have some crazy hair (Steven says i get a visit from the hair fairy) I can use it to get all under control.

2. Number 2 is Estee Lauder Equalizer foundation. Its at Dillard's. This stuff is perfect for my skin, it stays on all day for me, its light on my skin, so it doesn't look like i have tons of makeup. Sometimes I think i don't have any on, which makes my husband happy. It last forever so i don't have to buy it that often. I'm not one of these people that my make-up has to all come from the same place or I'm going to spend a fortune on make-up, this is my most expensive piece of make up, its $34.50.

3. OK so while we are on make up, my next favorite is berries and cream eye shadow from cover girl, you can get this anywhere and I have used this product for years. I always have it in my make up bag. Now don't get me wrong i use other colors, but this is my every day wear and i can even dress it up and use it a night time. Started wearing this about 2 years ago. I even wore it on my wedding day, so yes I really do love it.

4. Now pair this product with the one above and you can have the everyday look of Mrs. Lauren Wuthrich, ha ha. This is cover girl eye liner, it comes in several colors, but i like the black brown or the brown black, i can't remember at this point in time, but when i see it i know.

5. This is my trusty perfume. You can't ever go wrong with it, and its in my purse as a back up, you know in case sometimes your having a smelly day, ha ha. Its Victoria's Secret Very Sexy. I love it, it smells.....umm sexy. Just try it.

6. OK so this next one, is kinda of a boring one, but it works so good. I sometimes get heat bumps in the summer time on the backs of my arms and this lotion is magic. Its kind of expensive its like $11 a bottle. You can get it at Walmart its called Cetaphil. It works really well with my skin.

7. St. Ives Apricot Face Scrub (Renew and Firm). I love this stuff, it has those little balls to really get down in those pores. Steven asked me the other day, "Why don't you get another flavor" Umm i said its not like its a lolly pop. This is one of those products that works and i won't change unless something crazy happens. I use it every night in the shower.

8. After getting out of the shower i use this, its Mary Kay moisturizer. i have used this for a while now. My mom has a Mary Kay lady that she lives across from and she gets it from here. This lady is i think in her 70s and she looks like shes in her 50s. My mom asked her one day what she used to stay looking so young and she said i use that stuff that you order all the time. Well what she didn't know is that the stuff that she is ordering is for me, ha ha. Guess my mom will start using it now.

9. OK so I'm with Katie on this one. I love carmex, and maybe its addicting, but it works and i use it everyday. I have one in my purse and one on the dresser at home, I use it every night before i go to bed and every morning and throughout the day too. Once i put it one at night, i get mad at Steven b/c when he kisses me good night, he rubs it all off and i have to put more on.

10. OK so this is my best one yet. Most of you know that I can be on my feet for a long period of times during work. And i started using this stuff about 2 months before my wedding. B/c I couldn't get my feet soft and it they were it was only after a pedicure and i could never keep them that way. So i went to the store and found this stuff. Its a over night cream that you put all over your feet. I use it every night i want to tell you i have some really soft feet. When i went to get my pedicure for the wedding, the lady told me how good my feet looked and how i must really take good of them.....(Nah i just put this stuff on every night)
