This is the cutest thing that you will see on my blog. This our nephew Caine and he loves to be the center of attention, which none of us mind. This was taken Easter weekend when they came up. He is dancing to Taylor Swift's Fearless. This kid is so dang cute!!!!!!!

Concert Fun

So i know its been a while, but i have been waiting on pictures. A couple of weekends ago Steven and i went out to eat with Katie and Derek and then went to the Neon Spur to watch Charlie Robison. And we had a blast! But i didn't take my camera b/c Katie had hers. And I finally got her to upload them, so that i could snatch some for the blog.

So as you can see we had a great time, after we got done we went and played Scene it at Katie and Derek's house, and its pretty fun. I think the funniest part was trying to watch Derek play the game, while drinking a beer, while tyring to fall asleep.

Well Steven and I are going to go see Kenny Chesney this weekend in Frisco. Steven loves Kenny and has been wanting to see him forever. Funny story about seeing Kenny. 3 years ago Steven and i were dating and he had gotten tickets to go see Kenny and invited me to go, so i was super pumped to go. Well at the time i was working for AT&T at the call center and i had just started and was still in training. At that time I was working Monday thru Friday which was good b/c i was going to be off for the concert. Well the week of the concert, AT&T changed our schedule and i had to work the day of the concert. I felt so bad, i told Steven he could still go with out me, but he didn't, he ended up giving the tickets to his mom for her birthday. Very sweet guy, she was so excited. So know here we are again, 3 years later and we are finally going. I haven't been able to live that one down, hopefully i can redeem myself this weekend. I'll let yall know how it goes, I'm sure I'll have pictures too.

Home Updates

Ok so Steven and i decided to do a little home updates a couple of weekends ago. We got a new sidewalk poured b/c i couldn't walk on the rocks and we put all new doors in the house b/c we had the old hollow wood doors that were not pretty. I don't have pictures of the doors but they are new updated panel doors. but here is our new sidewalk and some new bushes that my mom and i planted.

Favorite beauty products

OK so I'm following the trend that everyone else it doing; telling everyone what my favorite beauty products are. Well I'm not a huge beauty product person, I do like to try new stuff but if it works for me and my skin/body then I'm not about to change. I sometimes get a wild hair and try new things out...so anyway here are my top 10.

1. OK so the first one is my CHI, not that I really need it b/c my hair is naturally straight as a board, but i can do so much with it. I use to not be able to curl my hair, b/c it would never stay, but with my trusty CHI, it can stay curled for up to 2 whole days, that's a lifetime in my hair. Also sometimes when i wake up, i have some crazy hair (Steven says i get a visit from the hair fairy) I can use it to get all under control.

2. Number 2 is Estee Lauder Equalizer foundation. Its at Dillard's. This stuff is perfect for my skin, it stays on all day for me, its light on my skin, so it doesn't look like i have tons of makeup. Sometimes I think i don't have any on, which makes my husband happy. It last forever so i don't have to buy it that often. I'm not one of these people that my make-up has to all come from the same place or I'm going to spend a fortune on make-up, this is my most expensive piece of make up, its $34.50.

3. OK so while we are on make up, my next favorite is berries and cream eye shadow from cover girl, you can get this anywhere and I have used this product for years. I always have it in my make up bag. Now don't get me wrong i use other colors, but this is my every day wear and i can even dress it up and use it a night time. Started wearing this about 2 years ago. I even wore it on my wedding day, so yes I really do love it.

4. Now pair this product with the one above and you can have the everyday look of Mrs. Lauren Wuthrich, ha ha. This is cover girl eye liner, it comes in several colors, but i like the black brown or the brown black, i can't remember at this point in time, but when i see it i know.

5. This is my trusty perfume. You can't ever go wrong with it, and its in my purse as a back up, you know in case sometimes your having a smelly day, ha ha. Its Victoria's Secret Very Sexy. I love it, it smells.....umm sexy. Just try it.

6. OK so this next one, is kinda of a boring one, but it works so good. I sometimes get heat bumps in the summer time on the backs of my arms and this lotion is magic. Its kind of expensive its like $11 a bottle. You can get it at Walmart its called Cetaphil. It works really well with my skin.

7. St. Ives Apricot Face Scrub (Renew and Firm). I love this stuff, it has those little balls to really get down in those pores. Steven asked me the other day, "Why don't you get another flavor" Umm i said its not like its a lolly pop. This is one of those products that works and i won't change unless something crazy happens. I use it every night in the shower.

8. After getting out of the shower i use this, its Mary Kay moisturizer. i have used this for a while now. My mom has a Mary Kay lady that she lives across from and she gets it from here. This lady is i think in her 70s and she looks like shes in her 50s. My mom asked her one day what she used to stay looking so young and she said i use that stuff that you order all the time. Well what she didn't know is that the stuff that she is ordering is for me, ha ha. Guess my mom will start using it now.

9. OK so I'm with Katie on this one. I love carmex, and maybe its addicting, but it works and i use it everyday. I have one in my purse and one on the dresser at home, I use it every night before i go to bed and every morning and throughout the day too. Once i put it one at night, i get mad at Steven b/c when he kisses me good night, he rubs it all off and i have to put more on.

10. OK so this is my best one yet. Most of you know that I can be on my feet for a long period of times during work. And i started using this stuff about 2 months before my wedding. B/c I couldn't get my feet soft and it they were it was only after a pedicure and i could never keep them that way. So i went to the store and found this stuff. Its a over night cream that you put all over your feet. I use it every night i want to tell you i have some really soft feet. When i went to get my pedicure for the wedding, the lady told me how good my feet looked and how i must really take good of them.....(Nah i just put this stuff on every night)

My early birthday present

OK so i know my birthday is like 3 weeks away, but i got my birthday present from my husband this weekend, and boy was it a good one. It was exactly what i wanted. I think i only mention it one time. Steven is good about remembering what i want and he does it being so sneaky.

So we went to Southlake this weekend to take Cole back and to do a little bit of shopping. When we pulled into Southlake, Dad, Cole and Steven dropped us off at this store called Charming Charlies. This store was great, if you haven't gone there, then go. So my mom and i went in and looked around and then the guys came in later once they parked the car. So we walked around and did a little shopping and then we went to eat at Saltgrass with Cole's mom and Logan. After we ate we headed home. We got home and took a shower and relaxed. Before we went to bed Steven wanted to make a tuna sandwich. As he did that i was trying to get ready for bed, and as he was making the sandwich, i said that sandwich really stinks, and he was like yeah it does, can you go get the spray out of the closet. So i went and opened the closet got the spray out, dropped it, picked it back up and went to spray the kitchen. I went back to the closet to put the spray up and was fixing to shut the door, when Steven said something to me, and it made me look down and there was a beautiful site.

I love it and it is so pretty!!! He is so sneaky, so come to find out, even though he wouldn't tell me(my mom told me, but she wasn't supposed to, she slipped) but he got it when we were in that charming charlie store.

I love Spring

I really do love spring time. I love the cool weather, the rainy nights and the flowers. Speaking of flowers, my mom and i decided to plant some tulips in the front flower bed to see how well they do. I must admit, i was a little nervous, b/c i didn't think they were going to come up, but i was so excited to see them start popping out of the ground. So i took some pictures so you can see my work. Everyday i go out and look at them, they are so pretty and everyday i have more and more pop up. So enjoy.

Its been a while

OK so i know i haven't blogged in a while...i haven't really had anything crazy going on that i need to talk about. Its been pretty quite in the Wuthrich household. Steven and i are in the process of getting new doors for the house. We have those old wood doors that are ugly. So we are going to get the doors that have the panels, much more up to date then the old ones. So I will get to paint those when Derek(Katie's talented husband) gets done with them. Once that is done we are going to do some stuff in the back yard. We have a walk way in the back yard that goes to our car port and it is just rocks and it drives me crazy, b/c i can not walk on it to save my life, especially in high heels, which i do wear very often b/c as you all know Steven so dang tall, i have to wear them so i don't feel so short. So we are going to get that paved, so i will stop complaining. ha ha
We are also going to plant some bushes in the back yard, we have 3 flower beds back there and they don't have anything in them, so we are just going to put some green bushes, so it doesn't look so plain back there. I love flowers and plants in yards, it just makes the house look that much better, i think. I'm so excited to see the red tulips that i planted with my mom back in Jan, they are all starting to come up and some are fixing to bloom. I will put pics up as soon as they do.

My nephew Cole is coming to stay the night on Friday night with Steven and i for the first time, and he is super excited. he called me last night and said he was ready to X-box it up with Uncle Steven. ha ha he loves him so much. and then he wanted to talked to Steven about the games they are going to play. So Friday night should be a night full of fun and laughs. Cole is so funny sometimes. When i got done talking to him last night, he said "love you" and i said "love you too", and then he said "love you both" ahhhh, that kid is great, he is so sweet.
